John William Carson was born on October 23, 1925, in Corning, Iowa, USA. He was famous for being an American television host. He hosted the talk show Tonight Show for three decades. During his tenure, he brought nothing short of entertainment to his audience.
Johnny Carson had won six Emmys in total over the course of his lengthy and famous career. In addition, he was given the 1985 Peabody Award and the Governor’s Award by the Television Academy in 1980.
Carson also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Kennedy Center Honor, and induction into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Hall of Fame.
The famed late night Television host passed away in 2005 of January after suffering from complications of respiratory failure.
