Jill Duggar Dillard recently took to Instagram to reflect on her most recent pregnancy, which sadly ended in the stillbirth of her daughter.
The 32-year-old reality TV star shared several old photos of herself cradling her baby bump, accompanied by hashtags like “#bornintoheaven” and “#lovedforever.”
The heartbreaking post included images of Jill in a long skirt lovingly holding her bump and making a heart over her belly with her hands. The emotional caption revealed the couple’s deep pain at not being able to share the baby bump photos before their daughter’s passing.
In a joint Instagram post earlier this month, Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, announced the stillbirth of their baby girl, Isla Marie Dillard. The couple expressed their love for their daughter and the sadness of losing her in utero, even though she was due in August.
Six days after their devastating loss, Jill and Derick held a memorial service for their daughter. They shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, along with snapshots of items they had purchased for the baby and details from the service. The final video in the series featured an open white box with a note that read, “We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.”
Jill has continued to share photos from the memorial service and its aftermath on Instagram, including a touching image of herself holding a pink baby blanket while crying. The caption reflected her everlasting love for her daughter, Isla Marie.
Jill and Derick, who tied the knot in a televised wedding on “19 Kids and Counting” in 2014, are parents to three other children: Israel David, Samuel Scott, and Frederick “Freddy” Michael.
