Jessalyn Gilsig, a Canadian actress, was born on November 30, 1971. She is most known for her roles as Terri Schuester in Glee, Siggy Haraldson in Vikings, Gina Russo in Nip/Tuck, Lauren Davis in Boston Public, and Siggy Haraldson in Vikings.
Gilsig attended McGill University in Montreal from 1989 until 1993, the year she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Later, she completed her training in acting at Harvard University’s Institute for Advanced Theater Training.

Gilsig and Salomon have a daughter called Penelope Saloman.
Gilsig filed for divorce on September 8, 2010, citing irreconcilable differences after Salomon and Gilsig divorced in 2009. In 2013, Gilsig became a citizen of the United States.
