Actress Jennifer Connelly is American. Before making her acting debut in the 1984 crime movie Once Upon a Time in America, she started her career as a child model.
After working as a model for a while, she started to focus more on acting. She appeared in a number of movies, including the historical superhero drama The Rocketeer, the romantic comedy Career Opportunities, the musical fantasy Labyrinth, and the horror thriller Phenomena.
