Jeannie Mai recently took to her Instagram to share some adorable snapshots from her recent trip to Boston with her 2-year-old daughter, Monaco.
The photos show the mother-daughter duo posing together on a staircase and enjoying some quality time on a swing.
In one of the photos, Mai and Monaco can be seen reenacting a scene from Disney’s “Lady and the Tramp,” sharing a noodle until Monaco breaks it off. The caption read, “Sooo happy to be back in Boston shooting season 2 of the best cooking competition show everrr.. and can’t help but remember lil Coco being only 6 months old when I first brought her here on my lap. And now she gets her own seat, the expensive lil 😭🥹.”
Mai shares her daughter with estranged husband Jeezy, who filed for divorce in September 2023 after two-and-a-half years of marriage. The rapper has since requested primary custody of their daughter, claiming that Mai has moved out of their shared home and taken Monaco with her.
Despite the ongoing custody battle, Mai and Jeezy have always wanted to share joint legal and physical custody of their daughter. As the legal proceedings continue, the representative for both parties has not yet responded to requests for comment.
