Jeannie Mai and Jeezy’s divorce seems to be taking a contentious turn as Mai has alleged that Jeezy left one of his assault rifles unsecured in their home, putting their 2-year-old daughter Monaco at risk.

According to new court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Mai stated that on April 1, 2024, their daughter found one of Jeezy’s guns beside a bed in their marital residence. This discovery came after Jeezy had allegedly left the AK-47 assault rifle unsecured, leading to concerns for their daughter’s safety.

In response to Mai’s claims, Jeezy, 46, denied the allegations, calling them false and deeply disturbing. He expressed his disappointment in Mai’s actions and emphasized his commitment to being an active father to their daughter while seeking joint custody through legal channels.

The couple, who filed for divorce in September after two-and-a-half years of marriage, have been navigating a challenging custody battle. Jeezy initially requested primary custody of Monaco but later revised his claim to seek joint physical and legal custody for the well-being of their daughter.
