Jamillah Ross is a comedian, actress, and singer-songwriter from Canada. She received her training at Toronto’s The Second City and has worked in improv troupes as well as on stage, television, and film.
She was a member of the cast of Show Stopping Number, which won the Canadian Comedy Award (CCA) for best improv troupe. Ross began his career as a server at Toronto’s The Second City comedy club before joining the touring company and performing in The Ice Cream Man Cometh and The Puck Stops Here.

Ross is married to Suga Jam, a Toronto-based comedian, music director, and actor. Her musical endeavors are a result of collaborations with Fisher, who also produced Show Stopping Number.
Ross was a member of the improv troupe The Dandies. Ross appeared on the improvised hidden-camera television shows Scare Tactics, Howie Do It, and Fool Canada. She also appeared in a few episodes of Toronto-based scripted shows such as Flashpoint, Lost Girl, Rookie Blue, Orphan Black, Killjoys, and Kim’s Convenience. She was also in the films Picture Day and Pay the Ghost.
