James McAvoy, who played Charles Xavier in Deadpool 2, has been in the headlines all week after Ryan Reynolds unveiled a teaser for a third installment of the film.
The Glasgow-born actor, 43, has subsequently been in a number of blockbuster films, including X-Men: First Class, Split (2016), Glass (2019), Atonement (2007), Wanted (2008), and It Chapter Two (2019).
It is interesting to note that McAvoy used to be a video game freak who played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Secret of Mana, and other adventure games, but he stopped once it started to negatively impact his life. McAvoy recalls using a cooking burner to burn his Oblivion disc to break his game addiction.
