Ivan Blakeley Kaye is a well-known actor and producer from England. His appearances in historical drama series like The Borgias, where he played the Duke of Milan for all three seasons, and Vikings, where he played King Aelle for the first four seasons, brought him international fame.

Kaye was born on July 1st, 1961 to social workers in Northampton, Northamptonshire. Their names, however, are not yet public knowledge. His parents regularly moved, forcing Kaye to attend thirteen different senior high schools, where he was bullied and once had his nose smashed in a fight.
His passion for entertainment started in early childhood when he recreated television adverts at age two and performed shows with his friends throughout his childhood.
