IU top songs
she released her first extended play (EP), Lost and Found, marking her singing debut (2008). Even though her follow-up albums Growing Up and IU…IM were commercially successful, it wasn’t until the release of “Good Day,” the lead single from her 2010 album Real, that she became a household name in the United States. The song “Good Day” later spent five weeks in a row at the top of South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart, and in 2019 it was placed first on Billboard’s list of the “100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s.”
IU awards
Since 2012, she has appeared five times in the top ten of Forbes magazine’s annual Korea Power Celebrity list.
In that year, she peaked at number three. In 2014, Billboard named IU the singer with the most songs that reached number one and the most weeks spent at the top of the chart, making her the all-time leader of the K-pop Hot 100.
In 2014 and 2017, Gallup Korea named her Singer of the Year.
