Jennifer Anne Garner is an American actress who is widely known for her role as CIA officer Sydney Bristow in the ABC spy-action thriller television series Alias and her role in the romantic comedy film 13 Going on 30.
Jennifer was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Garner studied theater at Denison University and began acting as an understudy for the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City. She has two siblings, a brother, and a sister. She was born in Hyannis, and grew up in Dennis, Massachusetts, and attended Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. As a child, she studied gymnastics.
