Hugh Jackman parents: Who are his father and mother?
In Sydney, New South Wales, Grace McNeil and Cambridge-educated accountant Christopher John Jackman welcomed Jackman into the world. Under the “Ten Pound Poms” scheme, his English-speaking parents moved to Australia in 1967.
Jackman has dual citizenship in both Australia and the UK because both of his parents were born there. One of his paternal great-grandfathers, Nicholas Isidor Bellas, was a Greek immigrant to the Ottoman Empire (now in Greece).
His parents were converted to Christianity together with evangelist Billy Graham following their marriage. Jackman has four elder siblings and was the second child of his parents to be born in Australia.
