Gwyneth Paltrow admits she asks her kids to help her understand internet memes

Gwyneth Paltrow, the famous actress and founder of Goop, recently opened up about how she relies on her kids to decipher internet memes. In an interview with CULTURED, Paltrow, 51, admitted that she often turns to her children, Moses, 18, and Apple, 19, for help understanding online trends.

One particular meme, “I’m baby,” left Paltrow perplexed until her kids explained its meaning to her. She jokingly shared, “I’m like, ‘What the f—? What does that mean?’ And then everyone tries to explain what ‘I’m baby’ means. I finally got it.”

As Paltrow prepares for her son Moses to head off to college, she is grateful for her close relationship with her daughter Apple, which she believes will help her stay up-to-date on the latest internet humor. Despite feeling a sense of impending grief about her kids leaving home, Paltrow recognizes that it is a natural part of their growth and development into young adults.
