The famous Graham Clark Gano is an American football placekicker for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He played college football at Florida State and was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2009.
On March 6, 2018, Gano signed a four-year, $17 million contract extension with the Panthers. On October 7, 2018, Gano kicked a 63-yard field goal game-winning field goal as time expired in a 33-31 victory over the New York Giants, earning him NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. The kick also tied the non-altitude-assisted field goal record set in 1970 by Tom Dempsey and connected in 2012 by David Akers.
After sitting out the previous two games due to injury, he was placed on injured reserve on December 19, 2018. He finished the season having converted 30 of 33 extra-point attempts and 14 of 16 field-goal shots.
