George Santos parents; Meet Fatima Aziza Caruso Horta Devolder, Gercino Antonio dos Santos Jr.
George Santos was born to Fatima Aziza Caruso Horta Devolder, who died on December 23, 2016, and Gercino Antonio dos Santos Jr. Both of his parents were born in Brazil. Through his parents, Santos has claimed to have dual citizenship in the United States and Brazil.
Santos claimed that his maternal grandparents were Ukrainian Jews who fled to Belgium and then to Brazil to escape the Holocaust during World War II, and separately claimed that his mother was an “immigrant from Belgium”.
But according to information gathered about his genealogical records, there is no evidence backing that up, but his ancestors have lived in Brazil for at least three generations, and nothing indicates they have any connection to Ukraine, have any Jewish heritage, or are Holocaust survivors.
Santos has also claimed that he was biracial and was born to an African American father, who had Angolan roots, but there is no evidence of that.
George Santos is not the only child of his parents, he has one other sibling, a sister named Tiffany Lee Devolder Santos. Not much is known about his sister as she prefers to keep a low life away from the media.
