The 43-year-old Canadian actor Eric Johnson is best recognised for his work in the science fiction series Smallville as Whitney Fordman.
He has played a corrupt sheriff in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin since 2022, an HBO Max horror series.

Johnson tied the knot to Adria Budd, a writer, and producer, in 2004, after meeting her while working on the Smallville set as Annette O’Toole and John Glover’s personal assistant.
The couple gave birth to their child in the year 2007 and named the child August Prairie Johnson.
The anti-Mormon son Joshua Steed was played by Johnson in The Work and the Glory (2004) and its sequels. He played the lead part in the television adaption of Flash Gordon, which debuted on Sci-Fi in August 2007 a few years later. After one season, the show was cancelled. On November 27, 2010, Johnson portrayed Jake Finley in Debbie Macomber’s Hallmark movie Call Me Mrs Miracle. He also portrayed Luke Callahan in the Canadian police drama Rookie Blue and the prisoner bank robber Cal Sweeney in the Fox television series Alcatraz.
