Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE is an English singer-songwriter. When he was eleven years old, he began to write songs. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framingham, Suffolk. Early in 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play No. 5 Collaborations Project. He joined Asylum Records the next year.
