Edward Christopher Sheeran, an English musician, was born on February 17, 1991. At roughly eleven years old, he began to write songs.
He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and reared in Framingham, Suffolk. Early in 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play No. 5 Collaborations Project. He joined Asylum Records the next year.

Cherry Seaborn, a lifelong friend and former classmate from high school, and Sheeran started dating in July 2015. In January 2018, they made their engagement public, and they got hitched a year later. She served as the basis for the song “Perfect.”
The couple revealed they were expecting their first child on August 12, 2020. On September 1, Sheeran announced on Instagram that Seaborn had given birth to a girl the previous week and that their second child, a daughter, was born on May 19, 2022.
