CC Donald McNichol Sutherland is a Canadian actor who has worked in movies for more than 60 years.
He was born on July 17, 1935. In addition to receiving nine Golden Globe nominations, he also won two of them for his roles in the television movies Citizen X (1995) and Path to War (2002).

They both had three sons – Rossif Sutherland, Angus Redford Sutherland, and Roeg Sutherland.
The former of these roles also brought him a Primetime Emmy nomination. He was given a place in the Canadian and Hollywood Walks of Fames as well as a Canadian Academy Award for the drama movie Threshold (1981).
