In an interview with her co-host Sheryl Underwood on Wednesday’s episode of The Talk, Osbourne defended her British friend, who recently left and later quit the morning programme Good Morning Britain after receiving backlash for his harsh statements about Meghan Markle.
According to Underwood, Osbourne’s online support of Morgan suggests that she “gives validation or safe haven to something that he has uttered that is racist.” Morgan received over 41,000 complaints about the way he spoke about the Duchess of Sussex’s shocking interview with Oprah and his characterization of Markle.
