American rapper Sean Combs, aka Diddy, has explained what it means to be a distraction in his life.
According to the ‘Coming Home’ hitmaker, he expects certain traits and treatments from people he moves with in his life, and if one does not demonstrate those, they are a ‘distraction’.
He said if people in his life are not motivating, praying, loving, or trying to make money with him, then they are a distraction.
Diddy, who is a father of six children, disclosed this in a tweet on Monday, April 17. He implied that he would not tolerate these types of people in his life.
“If you’re not motivating me, praying for me, loving me, or trying to get money with me…you’re a distraction,” he tweeted.
His message was understood and well-received by his followers.
“It’s amazing how much clearer your life can get when you stop associating with people who drain your energy,” a follower said.
But some followers disagreed with him.
“Things narcissists say. People are struggling across the globe, but life is all about you, what benefits you,” a user said.
Another user quoted the Bible: ” For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul? (Mark 8v36) (kjv)
But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night your soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall these things be, which thou hast provided?(Luke12v20) (kjv). Be rich towards God.”
One user added: “Biggie from grave gonna get u sooner than later for taking him to LA to meet his death.”
