The 30-year on-air veteran of Chicago’s WGN, Mallow’s father was a radio and television broadcaster.
Following his graduation from Maine South High School, Mallow earned a BFA in theatre arts from Drake University in 1970. After a fruitful 12-year career as a radio host in the Midwest of the United States and New York City, he relocated to Los Angeles in 1984 to pursue a career in voice acting.
His voice acting credits include commercials, film dubbing, looping, narration, audiobooks, radio plays, and voice characterization in a variety of video games, toys, and cartoons. He voiced Amarao in the video game Amarao, as well as the benign “Baboo” in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Angemon, Gekkomon, and Uppamon in Digimon: Digital Monsters. He also supplied the daily intros and numerous monsters for Saban Productions.
