Dan Wieden first wife: Who was Bonnie Scott?

Wieden, who was born in Oregon, earned his high school diploma from Portland’s Ulysses S. Grant in 1945.

He worked in public relations for a period before transitioning into the advertising industry after completing his studies at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication in 1967.

Wieden’s father was an employee of Gerber Advertising, but the younger Wieden didn’t find the field to be a natural fit until he started doing commercial freelancing and discovered he had a talent for it.

Dan married his first wife Bonnie Scott in 1996. She sadly passed in 2008. It took Dan 4 years to remarry.

The late ad titan had 4 children with Bonnie Scott, to whom Priscilla Bernard is a stepmother.  Their children are Tami Wiedensmith, Laura Blatner, Cassie Wieden, and Bryan Wieden.

Dan Wieden was dismissed from his work at a paper company and returned home to a pregnant Bonnie who was due with their fourth child. Bonnie cheerfully reacted to the news by saying, “Something’ll come up.”
