Curtis Bannister is a 37-year-old American actor. He was raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Bannister received his degree from Baltimore’s Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute. He used to hum and sing songs constantly when he was a kid, especially tunes from the church choir and the radio.

In The Transformation of Jane Doe, he makes his Chicago Opera Theater directing debut. He contributes to the Breathing Free visual CD by Heartbeat Opera. He will play Juba Freeman in Quamino’s Map world premiere in 2022.
