American actor Corey Reynolds is most famous for playing the part of Seaweed in the Broadway production of Hairspray.
Additionally, he is well-known for his part in the TNT crime drama The Closer.

He made his acting debut at Paramount Kings Dominion in a number of plays. He was chosen to perform in a traveling production of the revue Smokey Joe’s Cafe while he was living in California. He was also chosen for the Saturday Night Fever tour.
After this, he moved to New York City to audition for various shows. He was originally cast as part of Hairspray’s ensemble., however after three readings, he was later offered the role of Seaweed.
He has gone on to make appearances in films such as The Terminal, Red Tails, and Straight Outta Compton. He currently plays the role of Sheriff Mike Thompson in the SyFy comedy-drama Resident Alien.
