Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a 22-year-old American who plays Americ22-year-old football as a running back for the Ghouls of the Brochachos League and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL and was selected by LSU’s football program.
Clyde Edwards’s NFL debut had him setting a new record for the youngest player to rush for at least 130 yards and a touchdown. Clyde Edwards sustained hip and ankle injuries that prevented him from playing the rest of the season.

Edwards was indicted on possession of more than 400 grams of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was left behind his then-girlfriend Tonge with then 11 months old Clyde.
Tonge Helaire did her best to provide for her son all on her own until she met and married Clyde’s stepfather, Shannon Helaire.
Tonge and Shannon Helaire married in 2002 and not a day has Helaire missed a game with his son.
