American actor CJ Jones was born deaf and was raised in Los Angeles. He was born on September 29, 1950.
He is one of the people featured in the documentary See What I’m Saying: The Deaf Entertainers (2009). Jones made his feature film debut in Edgar Wright’s 2017 picture Baby Driver, in which he plays Joseph, the foster father who is deaf to the lead character played by Ansel Elgort.
