It is with sorrow that we announce the death of Chuck Carr who was well-known in sports as an American Major League Baseball outfielder. Chuck Carr dies: Cause of death revealed
According to his close relatives, the 55 years-old sportsman had battled with a number of illnesses that is believed to have triggered his untimely death. Apparently, Chuck Carr made his sudden departure on November 13th which was a Sunday.
Carr switched between three clubs at the beginning of his professional career before making his Major League debut on April 28, 1990, with the Mets. However, he only played in 16 games, and until the Marlins chose him with the 14th choice in the 1992 Expansion Draft, he didn’t have a regular opportunity.
