Chris Pratt may be a household name in Hollywood, but his own daughters haven’t seen any of his work yet. The 44-year-old actor recently attended the premiere of his film The Garfield Movie in Hollywood, California, and shared with PEOPLE that his daughters, 23-month-old Eloise Christina and 3-year-old Lyla Maria, have yet to watch any of his movies.
Pratt, who shares his daughters with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt and is also a dad to 11-year-old son Jack from his previous marriage to Anna Faris, expressed his excitement about showing The Garfield Movie to his kids. “Especially a movie like Garfield, it’s truly safe for all ages, and my daughters are both very young,” Pratt mentioned.
He admitted that his son Jack has seen a lot of his previous work, but his daughters have not been exposed to it yet. “My girls have never seen anything I’ve been in, so this will probably be the first thing that they see,” Pratt revealed.
In a recent interview with E! News, Pratt discussed the differences he sees in raising his son versus his daughters. He emphasized that while he tries not to make generalizations based on gender, in his experience, girls tend to be more emotional. “They’ve got me wrapped around their finger. It’s wild,” Pratt shared.
The actor also highlighted how his daughters require a softer touch and don’t enjoy roughhousing as much as his son. “They like to hear stories more than they like to wrestle,” Pratt explained, adding that each child is unique in their preferences and behaviors.
On Valentine’s Day, Pratt took to Instagram to pay tribute to his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, calling her an “amazing wife, mama, step-mama, and friend.” The heartfelt post expressed his gratitude for her presence in their lives.
As Pratt continues to navigate parenthood with his three children, he is grateful for the opportunity to share his work with his daughters and create lasting memories with his family.
