Charlie Talbert is known to be a licensed preacher who officiates weddings for friends, admirers, and other people. He was born Charles McClellan Talbert in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and was discovered by director Patrick Read Johnson while telling jokes to the staff in a Wendy’s late one night.

Talbert plays in many TV shows and movies and he gets the lead role in the 1995 Turner Classic movie “Angus.” Charlie relaunched his acting career in early 2015 after a six-year break, appearing in movies like “I Saw The Light,” “Hap and Leonard,” “Camera Obscura,” Varsity Blues and the Oscar-winning “The Big Short.”
After a six-year break from acting, Talbert resumed his career in comedy in 2009, working at The Groundlings in Los Angeles and doing stand-up at the Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard.
