Charlie Talbert is known to be a licensed preacher who officiates weddings for friends, admirers, and other people. He was born Charles McClellan Talbert in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and was discovered by director Patrick Read Johnson while telling jokes to the staff in a Wendy’s late one night.

After a six-year break from acting, Talbert resumed his career in comedy in 2009, working at The Groundlings in Los Angeles and doing stand-up at the Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard.
