American actor Chad L. Coleman was born on September 6, 1967, in Richmond, Virginia.
He went through the foster care system because his parents were deemed unfit to take care of him by local authorities. He was later raised by his grandmother when she was finally located.

Since his career began in 1992 he has had the opportunity to star in quite a number of TV shows and films. He portrayed Dennis “Cutty” Wise in the HBO series The Wire and O. J. Simpson in the TNT television movie Monday Night Mayhem.
Coleman participated in the creation of Left 4 Dead 2 as a voice actor for the character Coach and had a brief part in Carlito’s Way: Rise to Power. In the Fox television series Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Coleman also played a guest role.
