Born in Brooklyn, New York (Coney Island) on February 21, 1967, to Louise Gaskins (Ponds) and Herman Moorer, Brent Moorer Gaskins is an African American actor.
Before coming to Camden, SC, he was reared in Brooklyn until he was six years old. He began the educational system there and completed two years of college in the engineering department at the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
