Calesha “Bre-Z” Murray, born July 22, 1987, is an American actress and rapper best known for her roles as Freda Gatz in Empire and Tamia “Coop” Cooper in the American drama series All American.
Bre-Z was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. Her grandma called her “Bre-Z” when she was a baby because she wouldn’t stop crying until a window was closed, earning the nickname “breezy”.
She learned that it wasn’t her real name when she started kindergarten. When she was younger, she had short hair and was frequently mistaken for a man. In the sixth grade, she decided to pursue music studies.
Bre-Z parents: Who are her father and mother?
