William Alexander Blaikie, a politician from Canada, represented the ridings of Elmwood—Transcona and its predecessors in the House of Commons of Canada from 1979 to 2008. He was a member of the federal New Democratic Party.
Blaikie died on Saturday in Winnipeg, following a battle with metastatic kidney cancer, according to a Facebook post by his son, Daniel Blaikie.
