Canadian politician William Alexander Blaikie died on September 24, 2022 (June 19, 1951). He represented Elmwood—Transcona and its predecessor ridings in the House of Commons of Canada from 1979 to 2008 as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Canadian New Democratic Party.
