Fred Midler and Ruth Schindel are the star’s parents. Her mother, Ruth, was a seamstress and a stay-at-home mother, while her father, Fred Midler, worked as a painter at a Navy base in Hawaii and as a house painter.
They will all have passed away by 2022.
Her debut record, The Divine Miss M, was nominated for a Grammy.
