According to credible sources, Veteran actor Austin Stoker, who is best known for his work in John Carpenter’s second film “Assault on Precinct 13” and the 1975 blaxploitation film “Sheba, Baby,” passed away on Friday (October 7) from renal failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Renal failure has to do with the condition when the kidneys become ineffective at removing waste and maintaining fluid balance.
Stoker moved to New York to seek a career in show business after being born Alphonso Marshall on October 7, 1930, in Trinidad. In 1969, he appeared in his debut television episode of “The Mod Squad.”
Children Tiffany and Origen, grandchildren Marcus and Austin, and wife Robin survive Stoker.
