Austin has stepped into the spotlight, not because of his Red Power Ranger character fighting crime movies, but because he is currently in police custody as a result of his involvement in a Fraudulent scheme that netted him a whopping 4 million dollars.

The 47-year-old happened to be born in Roswell, New Mexico, to a US Marine and martial artist Steve Geiger, and his better half Sharon. Stephen, his brother, is his only sibling. St. John moved around a lot as a kid because his father was in the military.

Austin St. John’s first acting role and most well-known role to date came to him when he was just a teenager when he was cast as teen superhero Jason Lee Scott, the Red Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the first installment of the Power Rangers franchise, which debuted on Fox Kids in 1993.
