Ekeler started nine games as a rookie. He had seven rushing touchdowns and 1,049 yards, which helped him lead the club.
He set school records in his sophomore season with 1,676 running yards, 2,093 total all-purpose yards, and 190.3 all-purpose yards per game in addition to having 14 rushing touchdowns.
