Undoubtedly two of the most significant female rap popstars in the music industry to date are Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj.
The two’s natural chemistry makes their devoted fans believe that a future collaboration between the two might happen any time soon after giving birth to one of 2021’s most popular songs, “Say So.”
Are Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat friends?
Nischelle Turner from Entertainment Tonight questioned Doja Cat about which artists were on her “wish list” for the future.
“Everyone is aware that it’s Nicki Minaj! Every every time, “She spoke up.
The “Kiss Me More” singer has been open about her admiration for the Queen of Rap and how she has been an inspiration to her since she was 13 years old on social media.
Doja Cat even mentioned and expressed her profound gratitude to Nicki Minaj on her song “Get Into It (Yuh)” on her GRAMMY-nominated album “Planet Her.”
The song apparently paid tribute to the Trinidadian rapper for “paving the way for her polished pop-rap career.”
Minaj was asked to contribute to the song, but she turned it down because “there were middle people involved,” which made it difficult to collaborate on the song.
Doja just received a greeting from Nicki about her GRAMMY triumph, and Nicki shared the exchange on her Instagram story.
