Anthony Reynolds is an American actor, writer, and producer who is well-known for his performance in authoritative roles and has played several police officers, federal agents, and military authorities. Reynolds left Los Angeles for the East Coast to pursue acting after realizing how expensive it was to live there. He lacked formal training and had no business being on a movie set.
Before being persuaded to make the significant move to Manhattan to enroll at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute by his then-agent Ted Borden, he spent nearly two years in Atlanta receiving instruction and attending auditions. In 1995, Anthony carried it out. When the housing plans he had made before the move fell through upon his arrival, he shared a dorm room at NYU with a student he met on his way to New York.
