Rapper Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, better known by his stage name 21 Savage, was born on October 22, 1992, and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.
He was born in London and, at the age of seven, relocated to Atlanta with his mother. With the release of the collaborative EP Savage Mode (2016) with Metro Boomin, he first gained notoriety after releasing two mixtapes in 2015.

Due to his gun ownership in the seventh grade, 21 Savage was permanently expelled from all of the schools in the DeKalb County School District.
Due to this, he started going to schools in the metro Atlanta region before being sent to a juvenile prison facility.
He finished eighth grade through an alternate program after leaving the juvenile detention facility, then finished one semester of high school. He dropped out of school in his first year as a result of several exclusions, which, in his words, “exhausted” him.
