Ray Kroc was an American businessman born in Oak Park, Illinois, United States on October 5, 1902, to Rose Kroc and her husband, Louis Kroc.
He was a successful businessman who purchased the fast food company McDonald’s in 1961 and was its CEO from 1967 to 1973. He is credited with the global expansion of McDonald’s, turning it into the most successful fast-food corporation in the world.
He died at the age of 81 on January 14, 1984, from heart failure at a hospital in San Diego, California. He was 81 years old.

Rose Kroc and her husband, Louis Kroc are celebrity parents who happen to be the parents of Ray Kroc. They are the parents of three children – the businessman and his siblings, Lorraine Kroc and Robert Louis Kroc.
Rose was born to her parents in 1881 but passed away in 1959. Her father Vojtěch was from Ševětín and her maternal grandfather Josef Kotilínek was from Bořice.
Louis on the other hand was born in 1879 in Horní Stupno, part of Břasy near Rokycany but passed away in –1937.
