Keegan-Michael Key, an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer, was born on March 22, 1971.

In the comedy series Key & Peele on Comedy Central from 2012 to 2015, he co-created and starred with Jordan Peele. He also co-starred in Playing House on USA Network (2014–2017).

He belonged to the fraternity Phi Kappa Theta while attending the University of Detroit Mercy.

He was a cast member of Mad TV for six seasons (2004–2009), and he has appeared as a guest on Whose Line is it Anyway? in the United States on The CW.

In addition, he costarred with Peele in the first season of the FX series Fargo in 2014, and from 2013 to 2015, he played a recurrent character on Parks and Recreation. In addition to hosting Game On! on CBS in 2020, he hosted The Planet’s Funniest Animals in the United States on Animal Planet from 2005 to 2008.
