Catherine Keener has not been entirely lucky in the romance department as such, she is presently single and has no known attachment to anyone at the moment. Catherine has been married before, she married actor Dermot Mulroney in 1990 and they have a son, Clyde, born in 1999, who is a singer.
In June 2001 Mulroney filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and the divorce became final on December 19, 2007. After their divorce, Dermont later married Italian Tharita Cesaroni in 2008. They have two daughters, and the family lives in Los Angeles.

Catherine Keener was born to Evelyn (née Jamiel) and Jim Keener. Her father was a manager of a mattress store in Hialeah, Florida.
According to sources, Catherine Keener is of Irish descent on her father’s side, and of Lebanese descent on her mother’s. She was raised in Hialeah as a Catholic and attended Catholic schools. She attended Monsignor Edward Pace High School.
Catherine Keener is not the only child of her parents, she has four other siblings and she stands as the third of five children born to her parents. Her sister, Elizabeth Keener, is also an actress and a real estate agent working for Sotheby’s in Los Angeles.
Her brother Michael Keener served as a priest at St. Peter and Paul in Miami for several years.
