Wesley Studi, an actor and producer from the Cherokee Nation, was born on December 17, 1947. Throughout his career, he has won honours and appreciation from reviewers, particularly for the way he has depicted Native Americans in films.
He has been in both nominated and winning films for Academy Awards, such as Dances with Wolves (1990) and The Last of the Mohicans (1992). (2005). His performance as Sagat in Street Fighter is also well-known (1994).
