In the 2004 comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, he made his acting debut as Owen Dittman. Later, he appeared in the independent slasher movie Hatchet as well as the comedies Grandma’s Boy (2006) and Terry Zwigoff’s Art School Confidential (2006).
Moore attended Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, for two years after finishing high school.
In 1998, he changed schools and enrolled at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. He spent two summers playing at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival there and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001.
