He later established a strong reputation as a character actor thanks to his performances as Arthur Himbry in Scream, Coach Klein in The Waterboy, and Barry Zuckerkorn in Arrested Development.
Where did Henry Winkler go to college and high school? Did Henry Winkler go to film school?
Winkler enrolled at the McBurney School on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and P.S. 87 on West 78th Street. He was “outgoing” and “the class clown” at school, but he also had “continual worry” as a result of his academic difficulties.
His parents continually reprimanded him for performing poorly in school, called him a “stupid dog,” and were always angered by his dismal grades. They stated that they “would not accept bad marks.” Winkler felt that this circumstance was “excruciating” because of his “practically nonexistent self-image.”
