Ruben Diogo da Silva Neves, a professional football player from Portugal (born March 13, 1997), is the captain of the Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers and a midfielder for the Portugal national team.
He was developed at Porto, where he made his debut for the first team at the age of 17, and he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2017 for a reported £15.8 million. In England, he has played more than 200 times and won the EFL Championship in just his first campaign.
Neves played for Portugal’s youth national teams in more than 60 games. At the age of 18, he earned his senior international debut for Portugal in 2015. He also traveled with the Portuguese team to both the 2020 and 2022 World Cups.
