On November 24, 1964, Garret Lee Dillahunt was born in the United States.

His performance as Burt Chance in the Fox comedy Raising Hope, for which he was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, is the highlight of his television work.

For three seasons, Dillahunt portrayed Steve Curtis on ER (2005–06). Later, he played Dr. Michael Smith on HBO’s John from Cincinnati, Cromartie, John Henry, and George Laszlo on FOX’s Terminator, among other characters.
